An AI made this Minecraft Texture Pack!
Messing around with Stable Diffusion, I found it odd all the images were square. But, you know what else is square? Minecraft Textures! So then, I couldn't resist doing this. I gave stable diffusion the name of the texture and the word "texture" which tends to (though not always) force flat-looking 2-d images, along with a third mystery word to try to give the pack a coherent look. Can you guess what the word was? If you can, then you can pick the word for the next pack, if there is a next pack. I picked the best of the 4 choices stable diffusion presented to me. For textures that are basically color-tinted versions of other textures, I tinted them rather than use a different texture for each. So far I've only done common solid blocks, as stable diffusion doesn't produce images with alpha.
What do you think? Should I try to texture more blocks or perhaps some items? Should I give the AI more help, perhaps try to make the best AI generated texture pack I can, or should I give it less help and see what ridiculous textures it comes up with? I also have an AI up-scaler. I could try using that on the default Minecraft textures and see what I get. Let me know if the comments what you'd like to see.
