Digging a Man/Cheese Cave under my House, Part 1, HOWTO replace a Pick-axe handle.
3When I moved into this house a decade or so ago, I couldn't help noticing the basement was full of dirt. "One Day," I told myself, "I will remove this dirt and have room for many things, like a workbench and a place to hang all my tools, and also cheese." A few years back I started to remove the dirt, but discovered, not too far under it, an awful lot of rock. So the plan got delayed until I could convince someone to help out. Thankfully Sarah is mostly feeling up to the job, so progress is being made. The dig is not yet complete,, but already there is room for some of my things, and more room in the rest of the house for Sarah's various projects. And so far, the house has neither fallen into the cave, nor has anyone from the government showed up to stop me. Hopefully publishing this video will not alter that. Fingers crossed. Also my pick-axe broke, so I show how to replace the handle.
