An attempt at Lomcovak in MFS (you don't want to see the failed ones)
At first it appeared to me that the flight model could at least be suited for aerobatics, but over time I started having more and more reservations about that. Then I finally figured how to leave the drone fixed in place keeping the plane in its camera's focus (and still being able to control the said plane) and it turned out quite clear that the FM could actually be worse even than that of X-Plane...
Still, this particular maneuver doesn't look too bad. But about 80% to 90% of others looked pretty much nothing like a plane's behavior. Even wrong for an RC plane, for crying out loud.
As far as I understand, Microsoft Flight Simulator doesn't support custom flight models, which is basically its sentence. Too bad, the visuals are indeed pretty sweet.
The real downside of all this is that I can't name a single aerobatically-inclined prop-plane flight model that could be called even moderately realistic. But all in all, I guess the closest one to that would be DCS P-47D.
I need to get Rise of Flight back onto my HDD to check it again, though, since as far as I remember, it could actually be better.
