In today's video Stubbs takes a look at everything from buttons, screen, performance and how it holds up as a dedicated DS and vertical arcade shmup machine! Do we FINALLY have a worthy touch screen-based DS handheld? Also great for pinball, N-Gage/Java and SymbianOS fans. It looks kind of ugly, and a bit like a 2DS, but yet it might be just right for what's needed, coming in at $75 USD. However, there's a few things holding it back that we'll discuss. Not least of which is the lack of retro achievements for DS.

The MagicX Zero 40 is a vertically oriented handheld gaming device featuring a 4.0-inch 800×480 IPS touchscreen, powered by an Allwinner A133P quad-core Cortex-A53 processor with 2GB DDR4 RAM. It runs a 64-bit Android OS with the Dawn Launcher and supports over 30 emulators, including optimized performance for Nintendo DS titles. The device includes 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage, dual-channel stereo speakers, haptic feedback, and a 4,300mAh battery rated for 5–7 hours of use. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
