The upcoming Noida International Airport has achieved a big milestone. The Noida International Airport (NIA) gets the three letter code - DXN - from IATA. Earlier NIA has suggested three options to IATA of which the international Aviation body has selected DXN as the code for the upcoming international airport in UP. The phase 1 of the Noida airport is likely to be over by end of 2024, when the airport will witness the commercial operations as well.

Noida International Airport gets the three letter code - DXN - from IATA
Noida Airport has suggested three options for the 3-letter code to IATA, of which DXN was selected and awarded by IATA
DXN represents the Delhi, whereas X represents the West UP and N is for Noida.
The 3-letter code is unique for each airport worldwide used for identifying the airports, for logistics & ticket bookings
For example, JFK is the IATA code for New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport
