542Crusader Kings 3 continues and there is a most honourable, if unexpected, death for someone linked to the mighty Cupboard Dynasty. It's a surprise for us all and could have been avoided but it is what it is! It's all quite tragic indeed!
With the war for our own Duchy taken care of, we help our French allies deal with their two defensive wars. Our troops get a lovely trip to the South of France where we try to stop the neighbouring Lords from taking some delightful French seaside territory! We also try to help out in the war for Flanders but this doesn't go quite so well.
We improve our military a little, adding some more men-at-arms, and this is quite well timed indeed because we get a message from our religious leader The Pope himself!
