This is a very very early build for those who want to test GammaOS on their devices (no google services), a lot of work is still required to optimize the experience. This will work both on v1 and v2 screens.
If not done already, install this tool along with the USB drivers during the setup: https://github.com/K3V1991/ADB-and-FastbootPlusPlus
Download and extract the Google drive link above, you will have 3 files: system.img, boot.img, vendor.img.
Boot into Recovery mode on your 353 by ensuring all SD cards are removed and the device is turned off. Then hold down volume down and hold the power button, let go once you see the Android recovery menu.
First navigate the Factory Reset / Wipe Data, and go ahead with the factory reset.
Then navigate to the Enter Fastboot option and select this, once this is done then connect your USB cable to your PC. Issue the following commands in a command prompt where your extracted files are located:
- fastboot flash boot boot.img
- fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
- fastboot flash system system.img
Once this is complete, reboot the device. The first boot will take up to 10 minutes, please be patient. Your screen may turn off during the first boot, just turn it back on.
Once in Android, things will still be initializing in the background, the 3566 and eMMC on this device is not the fastest but it will speed up eventually once everything is loaded.
