One major battle remains, but before that battle takes place, Jakka has to save his mother & sister, leading him to Castle Steel to confront Galahad.

Galahad thankfully isn't a cold blooded murderer. If Jakka's army can reach the throne room where he lies and defeat him, he'll release them. Seems simple enough!

Objective's simple...defeat Galahad. The secret lunatic objective wants you to reach him in 15 turns. Could be a challenge since you have to cut through a whole lot of Steel Knight enemy units en route to Galahad and there's some nice loot from four chests. In total, the loot totals up to two Eternal Seals, a Hammerne, and Boots. On top of all that, the secret event is another Steel Knight on turn 3 with a third Eternal Seal.

As if all that wasn't enough, If you bring Colter & Aubrey to the chapter, Colter can chat with Aubrey and learn the Lethality skill.

If all that seems like a potential tight timer for succeeding, there's another way to satisfy the secret lunatic objective. If Isabelle's still alive, she'll mention that she can challenge Galahad to a 1v1 fight to challenge his position. If you let her go through with the challenge, you'll not get a chance to grab any of the loot nor the exp from the Steel Knights. No Lethality for Colter either!

Fighting Galahad with solo Isabelle requires some heavy preparation. She oughta be promoted and at or close to max level with at least 20 speed to not be at risk of being quadded since Galahad's weapons all pack the brave effect. Other than that, the higher her other stats are, the better chances you'll have of succeeding in the battle.

In terms of equipment to bring, at least a Holy Symbol and a full 3 use Elixir for starters. Weapon should be whatever you can use to deal at least some damage, even if it only ends up being 5-6 points per hit. If that weapon of choice happens to be Dawncaller, bring the Morganis Amulet to further boost its damage.

The final slot can be whatever you think will help you out. Since my Isabelle has Nihil, I brought a Hammer along to deal the finishing blow. Runesword is a great alternative if you have the weapon rank for it.

As for my strategy...Isabelle moves one square above the pool of water to her west and stays there for the rest of the match. For whatever reason, Galahad loves to move to the square one north and one west from that position. That'd be fine if there wasn't a random enemy Steel Knight in range to prevent Galahad's Wall of Steel personal skill from triggering every turn. Just means I can sit and wait until his hp falls low enough that one Hammer bonk ends it. Isabelle's Resolve helps to speed up the killing process at the midpoint too.

Once Galahad falls, he reveals a little bit about what Mortimer's trying to do, then asks Isabelle to finish the job of killing him. You get a choice here to do just that or refuse....and for once, either option has some strong benefits to it.

If Isabelle goes through with the finishing blow, she'll get Galahad's Coruscare tome, House Steel's regalia Bolwerk (+5 skl/luk/def/res, nulls criticals), and she gets a 3rd tier promotion to Steel Knight. This'll be shown off in a bonus clip at the end because I chose to spare Galahad.

Sparing Galahad means he gets a chance to ask Mortimer in person if he really was intending for Galahad to be offed at some point. Translation? Galahad joins Jakka's army for the final chapter.

Not much needs to be said about Galahad in combat. You've seen just how fearsome he can be with his powerful weaponry and insane stats. Wall of Steel makes him very self sufficient in fighting solo, especially with his massive hp pool and near capped defenses. Give him the Bolwerk and he's damn near impossible to take down easily. His only real weakness is 5 move so if you have a spare set of Boots lying around, he will certainly benefit from it.

Finally...if Galahad survives the final chapter, he can be brought to chapter 32 (the first of two bonus maps).

More next time!
