Android: How To Turn On Screen Rotation (Three Methods)
Today we will be talking about how to allow screen rotation on your Android device so that you can rotate your screen for better viewing.
I wanted to go over this because I realized after updating to a beta version of Android or resetting a Android device to factory specs, I had to enable screen rotation again.
Enabling this feature is not complicated but it's easy to forget since we don't have to do it often.
In this video I'll show you three methods on how to enable screen rotation. Each method is done on a different phone. For reference, I will list the phone and the Android version.
Let's go ahead and get into it!
Method 1 (ZTE Lever Android - 4.4.4)
Click on the apps tray icon.
Click on settings.
Click on display.
Click on auto rotate screen.
Method 2 (Google Pixel 2XL - Android 9 Beta)
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
Click on settings.
Click on display.
Click on advanced.
Click on auto rotate screen.
Method 3 (Huawei Nexus 6P - Android 8.1.0)
Swipe right on your home screen.
Click on the menu icon in the top left hand corner.
Click on settings.
Scroll down to the βHome screenβ section.
Click on βAllow rotation.β
