Captured live from Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 2014 Edition SM-P601 via MHL, using AverMedia C027 Pcie capture card. Audio via Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS Platinum Pro PCI card. OBS Studio was used.
Bottomline: (03.12.2022) Probably first, and a last one recording off a real android device, can't get around HDCP in MHL here, very unstable and jerky video feed, on my modded C027 card. Wasn't been able to do anything, with the AverMedia Live Gamer Portable(LGP, very first model, C875) If you know any modern android device, that outputs an unprotected video over its HDMI/MHL interface, I'll will be glad to hear it. Only tested the Asus Transformer Pad TF300TG, with Nvidia Tegra 3 inside. It DOES OUTPUT VIDEO WITHOUT STUPID HDCP over its MicroHDMI here... Though i was also found out, that outputting video while playing a game, tax the system, so it gets more sloppy/laggy "on record" here, tho. Also, was found out, on my "new" (Samsung)Galaxy A50 4/64(A505F/FN), that with Android 11, it can do a "Screen recording" here, like ShadowPlay(NVENC), or OBS Studio do on Windows, tho. Recording is laggy, and with limitations, but still... You can record "on-device" here, so im don't know, does it necessary to do record "from desktop/Windows" here, tho. It may be obsolete by now(december 2022), but still...
