Anett Futatabi (Sega CD, El Viento 3,Japan Only) Default Difficulty Playthrough
Around 1 hour 32 minutes to beat on the default Easy difficulty setting. I believe this is the third game in the El Viento series, but a Japanese exclusive. This game is quite shitty. While it may not be as bad as some Commodore 64 or other old computer beat em up games, its very bad compared to other console beat em ups of the time. The game is so unpolished that enemies sometimes leave the screen completely and I had to use screen clearing magic to finish them off. Bosses can also spawn right on your character hitting you immediately. The hit detection is very bad. This is really showcased on the final boss which was insanely hard to even hit. It requires extremely precise air attacks. No cheats were used but I used Save states for practice only. Since the game has infinite continues I would practice certain sections, mostly bosses, then suicide and replay the stage legit.
Deaths edited out. You only get one life and then you are sent to the continue screen but you can continue infinitely. When you continue you start at the last checkpoint you got to with full health. Some later boss fights are thier own checkpoints, like the final boss, but most of the time you have to replay a stage if you die at its boss. I may break this one down in a tutorial since you can exploit the game in several ways. One great strategy for the stages is to wait in the empty areas to recharge your magic fully, then use it when the screen is packed with enemies or difficult enemies to clear the screen. You can then charge it again for the next wave of enemies. This is alot easier then dealing with the shitty gameplay. If you get hit by certain enemies you can easily get stunlocked to death with no way to recover.
Stay tuned !!
