Found this awesome game that is currently in development. That's a playthrough of the latest demo of this upcoming metroidvania game:

This game has spectacular graphics and it manages to keep you interested all the time. Usually I'm not much of a Metroid fan, but this is so well done that it really keeps me interested.
I'm actually quite a fan of the linier gameplay of the demo. I don't mind that.
The gameplay is not too easy and you need to get to use to. This playthrough is my third attempt. Once you get the hang of it, it's cool. The only problem I had was with the lack of more checkpoints. So you need to learn how to deal with.
Some of the gameplay mechanics such as the shield needs more adjustment. The duration time is too low and sometimes it's not in the right direction. Maybe in the final game it will be upgradable.

PS. Sorry if the video is a little bit choppy at the beginning, but my PC is getting outdated and I need to upgrade it already...
