Description:
After the true ending of Gaia's Melody: Echoed Melodies, Akira and her friends settle down in New Tera and try to recover from the trauma of the previous game. Unfortunately, a strange phenomenon is causing the monster population of the town to panic, so the team will have to take up their weapons once more.

We can't use the airship because Melody can no longer control her magic. We have to go through the tunnels to get the regular ship. You don't get to choose the party that leaves for the ship though.

Fortunately, we don't have to go through the damage barriers again, since he's more willing to listen to Nora.
It turns out that another reason for Akira's memory loss is because Agares has complete control over the Gate, which weakens her. We need to find an Angel Tear jewel in order to act as a substitute for Akira's original power.
Zephyr reveals that when Akira collapsed for the second time, she temporarily reverted to Melody and stated that a girl associated with darkness attacked her.

The heroes have to split into three teams, but Aneka won't be participating, since she doesn't want to be near Melody for some reason. Melody's team has to go on the path with stronger monsters, the left path has just plain old weak monsters, and the right path has puzzles.
Each path has an orb that you must find and bring to the end, which will trigger a miniboss fight against a giant robot. Once all three paths are completed, you must pick two characters to accompany Melody and Zephyr in the boss room.
For some reason, the Angel Tear creates an image of Aneka as an angel.

Melody hears a voice that tells her how to use the Angel Tear to teleport away from the additional Aura Serpents.

The tear can be used to fly the airship, which is good because we need to get to Isha's hideout in Chopokolon Canyon in order to regain control of the Gate.
