Here I want to speak about 2 things: the game itself and the final part of it. The game itself is AWESOME, the story is great, the settings are so various and amazing, the combat system is fast and exciting, the characters (foes included) are awesome, the improvement of character and item system is well done, the soundtracks are splendid and so immersive, always perfect for the context, in boss fights the soundtracks express perfectly what the boss is (all well studied), the graphics and the effects are awesome to see, and they are genial, I would say they are 3/4 3D movie style and 1/4 anime style, the style of menus and written section is so beautiful, particularly special thing the game is 3D exploration but there are little sections of horizontal exploration. The bad aspects are: 1)the absence of physical weapons to be used in game; 2)the similarities in some attacks between the bearer and Ergo, about some attacks I would say you have just to choose between the celestial version (Bearer) or the violet version (Ergo); 3)some little problem about the pointer in fighting some time; 4)some incoherence in the delineation of some characters, for example Elienai who at a certain point defines Ergo as a "pain in the a#s", while Elienai, before and after, is presented as a character who, by her nature, would never use those terms, another example is in the final part of the game, but I will speak about it later; 5)the item system is well done, but 1 beautiful aspect is missed, unluckily there are not items which damage the foes directly, I think it would have been very good if the game had a few items, rarer to be found and few in number, which do a quite strong damage to the foes and can't be used again once consumed, something like a trump card to use only when really necessary; 6) though you can use in game both the Bearer and Ergo, the real main character of the game is clear to be the Bearer. Looking at the characters, you see how much the Bearer is inconstant, not steady, fragile-minded, and full of doubts about what to do. On the contrary Ergo, in good and in bad, is very steady and more resolute, more reliable...he is supposed to be Bearer's shoulder, but it continuously proves to be the stronger one...even his story is deeper than the one of the Bearer, so I think it would've been better if the main character was Ergo, focusing the attention on him would have made the game deeper, and more epic. Anyway, in general, the good in this game is too much than the bad, the game is just awesome (and rare/unique). About the final part, I'm disappointed: in the hand to hand combat against Baal, sometimes I hit Baal but the game did not score the hit (both with Ergo and with the Bearer), sometimes Baal was too far to hit me dodging (according to the parameters of the struggle), still the game scored the hit (you will see all this in the video). Too often I pressed the dodging button, still the dodging move was not executed or was delayed resulting in being hit. 1 time my attack and its attack had to cancel each other, but it happened that my attack was deleted, while its attack hit me. It also happened that the pointer went away by itself during struggle, and the visual changed by itself too, making me risk to get damage. At the final part of the struggle I changed from Ergo to the Bearer, and the Bearer by itself threw herself crashing to Baal's power balls. Due to all this I felt to get cheated by the game. Then, the ending...it was beautiful and dramatic, Ergo is going to end because there is no other choice (though it says "see you, Anne", and this makes me think it was not really his end), all this until the Bearer, desperate and in tears one second before, now come up with an "idiot"...this "idiot" is not said with a desperate, hopeless or even angry voice, it is said with a voice of deep despise! This single word ANNIHILATE all the drama and all the feelings of the drama in an instant, how could it be so silly and incoherent? I remained with a "...what the hell????", is this a telenovela?? Then, the final video (after the credits) shows again the OLD IGNORANT CONCEPT which associates the Order to the Good, and the Chaos to the Bad...still? Order and Chaos are just 2 very general terms to express 2 ways of DOING THINGS and to ACT. Both Order and Chaos can be used to do good things, and bad things in the same way. Finally, the last video is clearly set right after the final struggle, probably the day later or something like that...what does the Bearer do in the end? she smiles with sooo cool face (@_@) did the pain for Ergo's lost vanish in a few hours? (supposing that pain to exist, hard to believe at this point). In the end, then, the Bearer (Anne), whom we hoped to evolve about inner strongness, just proves to be both a weak blind-minded (f###ing) soldier, and a cynical and insensitive woman without even a defined personality, and this last aspect is the biggest incoherence in the game.
