Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Day 262 - Drifting in the Snow
My Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is now experiencing some pretty heavy Joycon Drift. When recording this video for my Animal Crossing: New Horizons gameplay series, the problem was at the worst it has ever been. Sure, I've recorded a few instances of Joycon Drift in the past, but specifically today, the issue was very prominent, especially when I was trying to push snowballs and build snowfolk.
For those that don't know, Joycon Drift is the name of an ongoing problem with Nintendo Switch controllers in which a controller will automatically move a character in a random direction. Basically, a character might start moving in a video game without a player even touching the controller. In today's video, my character randomly started walking south, and menus were a little difficult to navigate because I had to fight with the controller's automatic inputs for a bit. The issue exists mainly in the left Joycon of a Nintendo Switch system, but it can exist in just about any Nintendo Switch controller. This issue has only become more prominent as I've recorded more gameplay videos for my channel, and I believe that the issue will only grow worse as I continue to regularly play and record games. But for the time being, I'll just have to put up with Joycon Drift until I can find an easy fix to the problem.

This is a video series in which I play Animal Crossing: New Horizons for one hour every, single day! I will go from being a fairly unfamiliar player of the series to a full-on Animal Crossing fan as I develop my island and interact with the various villagers! From catching bugs to digging fossils to constructing buildings to collecting Nook Miles, I plan to try out all that this Nintendo Switch title has to offer!
Each video of this series will showcase gameplay in a walkthrough-style format, but each video is supposed to be relatively relaxing and mundane. The topic of each video will vary based on what activities will be available to me each day, but overall, I shall be headed to wherever the game takes me. And if you have any tips, suggestions, or remarks, then please feel free to leave a comment down below! I shall try to do whatever I can to showcase this game to the best of my abilities!
