It may seem crazy to newer players but there are a lot of over leveled phantoms in Elden Ring who expect to win any situation with just L2 spam and when an opponent, be it pvp or pve, requires more effort than that get mad salty about it. Instead of learning timings, spacing, traits, etc they just go from one "over powered" weapon/spell/item to another until they're out of FP and when that doesn't work blame it on not being leveled up enough.

What's really frustrating though is how most over leveled summons destroy the sense of exploration and improvement their host friends could've experienced. This host has seemingly gotten their gear through exploration but whatever they had that was properly upgraded wasn't being used. Almost certainly the summon told them (wrongfully) it was bad and because they were carrying so hard the host never questioned their setup.
