Almost forgot about recording this. Largely going straight for the Chests as I don't really need the EXP. Horror only spawns in 2nd area Rare. Route split for 3rd area is for who gains a chance for their Light/Shadow gains.
I already long cleared them, but 2nd run onward you will meet a friendly Shadow who gives you Missions, 10 in total. Mission 6-7 are on Morgana's Route, 8-9 are on Joker's. The last few Missions have harder Boss level fights with the final 10th running a Barrier gimmick that nullifies damage from 15 hits at above 50% HP and 30 hits from below. Clearing all 10 Missions will have Skull join you. The Missions can be done in either difficulty of Mementos but their own difficulty is fixed.
You don't need to bring the Persona characters for Decayed Thought Leaves as there is no additional bonus other than the Rare Area one but at least bring the character whose Route you intend to do for the Light/Shadow gain chance.
