Marvel fans are buzzing about the latest flick in the Ant-Man saga, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. In anticipation, we decided to turn the clock back a little, and take another look at the previous installment – Ant-Man and the Wasp. It’s a fun, action filled flick with lots of comedy and great fight scenes. But instead of looking at easter eggs, or interviews with the cast, we thought we’d dive into the amazing VFX they used. Fortunately for us, (and our fellow Marvel fanatics) they put out some incredible footage from the movie, showing the many levels of painstaking work that went into making it look phenomenal. Whether it’s making characters constantly changing size, or making “Ghost” look like she’s 20 places at once, or even making the Quantum Realm look crazy cool, the Marvel VFX folks definitely hit it out of the park with this one. You’re definitely gonna want to check out what Ant-Man and the Wasp looks like without CGI. Paul Rudd might be hilarious and a great lead actor, but in this one, the true hero might actually be the VFX. We take a look at a bunch of the big VFX scenes, like the huge fight scene in a restaurant kitchen, and the scene where Ant-Man is the size of a building. We also look at how they made the giant ants look so realistic, and how they actually had to made them look less real in order to make them look more real. (It makes more sense when you see it in the video!) So check out this video today for an awesome glimpse of Ant-Man and the Wasp without CGI!
