And yes, Keanu Reeves does all his own stunts. In fact, he had to do a lot more than stunts for the John Wick Films. He had to learn to stunt drive, and even…Stunt ride! Stunt ride a horse, that is. The films use a wide variety of VFX and live choreography to create the high stakes action shots they’re known for. Besides being mind-blowingly awesome, the filmmakers flex their creative genius on a pretty tight budget, showing that hard work, ingenuity, and dedication can make any cinematic ambition come to life. Also, all the dogs in the John Wick films are real! Though none were harmed in the making of the film of course. With John Wick 4 coming to theaters soon, you can watch it with a new perspective knowing all of this awesome Behind The Scenes trivia. Though if you’re watching this video there’s probably one thing you know for sure; Keanu Reeves is seriously amazing.
