This story about Defy Media and how they completely screwed over SMOSH and other popular YouTubers is hilarious. Most people by now know that Multi Channel Networks (MCN) are the worst and this story is a perfect example. Don't partner with MCN's!

It's great to finally see these shady companies get called out for their poor business practices, though I feel sorry for the content creators that are negatively impacted by what has transpired. Hopefully this story is part of a positive change of direction for media companies and how they work with YouTube and the creators on the platform.
