Ants Eating Contraceptive Sugar Pills - Ant Diary 2019 April 28
6So you know how the birth control pill has a week of pointless sugar pills that are supposed to give you a break so that you get your period? Yeah. I skip those. And usually I just throw them out, but today it occurred to me that maybe this was a waste - ants like sugar, what if I gave it to them? Drop a bit of water on top to start them off, aaand whaddayano! Instant ant feast in a neat little package!
Q: but Mariko, aren't you asexual? why are you taking a contraceptive?
A: I'm officially prescribed it for acne, but actually started it to ease my terrible period pain - and since I happened to have bad acne when I was younger, hey! two birds, one stone.
