3Yep,I decided to playthrough the game as Spike too! After you've completed the game as Jimmy,if you hold L1 and Select when you start a new game,you'll start a new game as Spike from Ape Escape 1. He starts with every Gadget in the game right from the get go,and can even get the secret monkeys right away thanks to the Magic Punch. There's no new story cutscenes,it's purely just to play as Spike. Did the Liberty Island,Breezy Village,Viva Apespania,Port Calm,and Castle Frightmare stages this part,and also fought against the boss,Blue Monkey.
