I've been experimenting with some settings lately (hitmarkers, slightly lower FOV, 144 FPS cap and different AA solutions for example).

I am now using Reshade's FXAA instead of Apex's TSAA for anti-aliasing. Both perform pretty much the same and FXAA is less extreme than Apex's implementation of TSAA.

I combined both with Reshade's LumaSharpen filter (I would never use any AA method other than MSAA and some implementations of SMAA without a sharpen filter) and FXAA looks more natural and blurs everything less (and is adjustable!). I can't get the same effect with TSAA and more sharpening, if I do that I get a very artifical oversharpened look which I don't like.
It doesn't smooth edges as much as TSAA but I rather have that than a blurry or artifical picture. It would be nice if Apex itself provided more options in that regard, like FXAA, SMAA, MSAA, ... with adjustable strength because the only available option is really bad actually.

I tried Reshade's SMAA as well but that increased my GPU usage noticeably more for not enough benefit over FXAA so that is not an option.
