A while ago I stumbled upon this Vice article claiming that toxic masculinity and gamer culture go hand in hand, resulting in a lot of sexism, racism and homophobia. It was quite an interesting read but I couldn't help but wonder, is this really true? So I decided to go and ask fellow gamers themselves! I figured, being in touch with your emotions is more or less the opposite of toxic masculinity. Which is why I asked my random teammates in Apex Legends: when is the last time you cried?

I really enjoyed doing this and I will continue to ask random teammates random questions for my new series: random with randoms.
