Apex Legends' Weapon Mastery System: Mastering Guns for Rare Skins
2Apex Legends is introducing a new long-term progression system called Weapon Mastery that rewards players for their gunplay skills with rare cosmetics, including legendary weapon skins. This system levels the playing field by starting all players at level one for all weapons and allows players to earn permanent XP and levels by using any weapon in any mode. With every 20 levels, players receive a specific "trial" with unique rewards, and if they get a weapon to level 100 and clear all five trials, they can officially say they've "mastered" it. Hardcore players will be drawn to the opportunity to obtain weapon-specific badges, lifetime performance trackers, Legendary weapon mastery banner frames, and a guaranteed Legendary skin for each weapon.
