In a day and age where encryption is almost becoming a necessity on electronic devices, Apple was pushed into a corner recently when they were asked to create backdoor exploits for iOS and hand them over to the FBI in order to make it easier for government agencies to decrypt and access an iDevice. It has been claimed that this would only be needed to get into the iPhone belonging to a terrorist from the recent San Bernardino tragedy, however Apple CEO Tim Cook replied back in an open letter stating that they will not give in and why they won't, for the sanctity of security.
