April First Fool | Guild Wars 2
4GW2 April fools this year features the airplane mode and camera filters that made the game looks like something from an early 20th century silent film.
The airplane mode, if you didn’t know, was a famous bug in beta that had characters extend their arms out like an airplane. Arenanet took this joke further this year by making everyone do the airplane pose with an aviator cap and added silly sound effects to it. In addition, there is also a filter that made the game look like a silent film.
The filter can be turned off by turning off post-processing.
There is also a special music that plays when you die.
