Arachnophobia is an all but forgotten horror movie from 1990 where John Goodman and Jeff Daniels battle a spider infestation. Even more obscure than the movie itself is this awful PC Game based on the movie! The game has barely enough gameplay to qualify as an actual game and feels really unfinished. I often play pretty crappy retro horror games like this, so I'm used to it. At least this game is super short! This is also the first MS-DOS game I played for this channel!

Every Thursday, I put out a video in my Horror Retrogaming Series. In this series, I'm trying to illustrate how horror has been presented and evolved in gaming these past few decades. I will trace this evolution by playing adaptations of horror movies and books, early survival horror games, and any horror retro games that tried to actually be scary.
