Let's Play Suburban Commando on PC - MS-DOS Gameplay of Hulk Hogan Game
Hulk Hogan has done a lot of terrible things. Using his political clout to hurt other wrestlers. Holding onto the WWF & WCW titles for way too long. His Gawker Sex Tape. Being a huge racist. Opening a horrible Pasta restaurant. Perhaps worst of all, though, was his movie career.
As his popularity as a babyface hero of the WWF began to wane in the late 80's, Hogan tried to parlay his semi-fame into a Hollywood film career. He had a well-received cameo in Gremlins 2, and I assume this fed his ego way, way more than it should have. Movies like No Holds Barred, Mr Nanny and Santa with Muscles are some of the worst movies ever made or even conceived.
In Suburban Commando, The Hulkster stars as Shep Ramsey, a space-farring bounty hunter who crash lands on earth and has to contend with rigors of (GASP!) early 90's suburbia! Its a terrible premise and Hogan makes the already awful film unbearable. I've seen thousands of movies (I'm a movie podcaster) and this is one of the worst movies I have ever, ever seen.
Yet, somehow...SOMEHOW..., this awful movie was adapted into a video game. I can't understand why. Judging by what I played, I assume that this game must have cost $20 to develop and release. Its a videogame based on a movie that may actually be better than the movie it was based on...at least...
I recorded this gameplay using XSplit video and found the game on The Internet Archive at www.archive.org
