7The arcade game "Pulsar" was released by Sega in 1981. I am quite sure that I never did run into this game in the wild, which is surprising to me, given what an arcade rat I was at the time. Maybe it wasn't available, or widely distributed in North America. It's a decent game, and it has the qualities I look for in a classic, fast action, good controls, and the feeling that if you could just improve a little bit you'd be able to get farther.
