In which I play "The Living Daylights", published by Domark in 1987, programmed by John Kavanagh and Pat McCormack. This is an interesting game in that the player runs through the level and tries to avoid obstacles, combined with being a crosshair shooter. The two mechanics work not quite as badly as one would expect. Unfortunately, the player is difficult to control, collision detection with objects in the running sequence is a bit off, and the additional weapons are difficult to use. It's fairly ambitious, but doesn't quite pull it off. I found that if I just ran and jumped as best I could, I got through the levels.
