Para-para is a kind of the dances, once was famous in Japan. This dance is consisted of some movements like shake hands, swing arms, or else that not very difficult to dance. In the late 1990s and the early 2000s, para-para had lots of popularity in Japan-lots of people did para-para. Lots of clubs, labels, or groups took videos contain how to dance para-para and actions for each songs-most of them were eurobeat.
The 2nd game of ParaParaParadise Series, and also the last game of the series.

This game runs on Konami Viper Hardware.

Controlled with 5 sensors and 3 buttons. Players need to use their hand or foot to make sensors work.

- Trivia -
Para-para dance is based on Eurobeat songs. ALL GENRES of songs contained in this game is eurobeat. Each songs is consisted of certain actions, so players need to memorize each actions to do para-para. Memorizing actions for each songs is very important, because it is refered as OFFICIAL DANCE. If not, galleries can see players just swing their hand or arm wildly.

Players need to use MAME version 0.235 or upper versions, because of the emulation of Konami Viper Hardware. The version 0.235 is the first version that ParaParaParadise 2nd MIX can be played. The graphic emulation is incomplete; some graphics like score, rank and lines between the arrows for Hold notes are not correct. Although the game is not 100% accurate for graphics, players can play this game anyway-there is no problem about sound emulation.

파라파라 파라다이스 2nd MIX (c) 2001 코나미.

파라파라 파라다이스 시리즈의 두 번째 작품이자 시리즈의 마지막 작품. 기판을 Firebeat에서 Viper로 바꾸었으며 게임 내 인터페이스도 상당 부분이 바뀌었다. 곡을 플레이 할 때 화면에 댄서 캐릭터들이 등장하거나, 곡 한 곡을 대상으로 공식 안무를 연습하고, 실제로 춰보는 강습 모드도 추가. 해상도도 종전 640x480에서 1024x768로 변경.

- 이야깃거리 -
파라파라의 특성상 수록곡들은 모두 유로비트. 타 BEMANI 작품들에서부터 이식받은 곡들 마저도 유로비트 버전으로 어레인지하여 수록.

파라파라의 동작들은 비교적 간단하긴 하나, 각 곡마다 지정된 동작이 있으므로 해당 동작들을 외워 추는 것이 중요. 동작을 외우지 않으면 사실상 팔을 허우적거리는 모습으로 보인다.

MAME로 본 작품을 플레이하고자 할 때는 반드시 0.235 이상의 버전을 사용해야 한다. 그 이전에는 바이퍼 기판의 에뮬레이션이 정확하지 않기 때문. 플레이가 가능한 수준까지 에뮬레이션이 된 것이 0.235 버전. 단, 그래픽이 일부 깨지는 문제가 있다. 특히 홀드의 경우, 시작과 끝을 연결하는 선이 제대로 스크롤되지 않는다. 그래도 플레이 자체는 지장이 없다.

1. 먼저 MAME로 플레이 한 영상을 찍는다.
2. 1에서 찍은 영상을 보면서 몸을 움직이는 영상을 찍는다.
3. 두 영상을 합치고 싱크를 맞춘다.

공식 안무를 외운게 아니기 때문에, 그저 팔을 허우적거리는 걸로 보일 수도 있습니다.
