I'm finally back to playing after my move and I thought I'd go for a 1cc (1 credit clear/complete) on one of my long-time bucket list games that I've been putting off forever - UN SQUADRON aka Area 88!
I used Shin in my run, mostly because his default autofire rate is the best of the 3. The game has a "pulse" autofire built in, which means you only have to fire once every 2-3 seconds if you hold the button down after you press it. Mickey gets a wider shot at the expense of a slower rate of fire, so when I see players cranking up Mickey's rate of fire with external/out of game autofire, I find that extremely unbalanced and near cheating.
Anyways, this run was pretty good but can definitely be improved upon. Like most Capcom games of the era, the less you buy in the shop, the better your score; all your unused money gets converted to points after you complete the game. Without buying anything through the whole game, a score should about 1.5+ million, I think.
