Archduck's Small Song Compiledom: Volume 2
3(Omori spoilers past the 3 1/2 minute mark) (Descriptions for each song down below)
Each year I post the short songs I've made or mixed over the year that aren't enough to get their own video. This video is the second year, hence the second volume.
It's been a crazy year, a huge change for my channel, going from mainly music to a full on variety channel. I've finally fully settled on the name Archduck, and the brand behind it, which was still up in the air this time last year. I hope this next year is even better, and hope I get to see you guys stick around to see Volume 3.

Exciting Fanfare - Alongside TheCreeperGreen, a commission I wrote for a twitch streamer friend, I wanted to write a fun little fanfare that I personally thought would be cool to hear alongside his vtuber reveal that was coming at the same time. I didn't end up catching the start of that stream, so I don't know if he used it, but the fanfare still sounds pretty epic to my eyes.
Tubular Tango - You may recognize this one from Sinking Abyss, I ended up dragging a more distorted version of this to create that masterclass of a song. I wanted to write a tango, got a little in, and realized I didn't know what I was doing. It's a shame, cause tangos are fun pieces.
Regality - I came up with this one in a dream. The dream itself was pretty boring, I just composed this song. It was a couple years ago so I don't think I'll ever get it to how it was in the dream itself, but in this past year I did touch it up enough for it to sound nice and presentable.
A Foolish End - You might recognize the leitmotif from... well, you will recognize it from Fool's Theme once I get it up. As the D&D campaign this character was on continued, I noticed my character was a lot weaker than the others, partially because of asinine health rolls. A lotta ones lemme tell you. So, understanding my character is as good as dead, I wrote this for his eventual end. It's a shame, his arc was wrapping up at that point too, but instead of dying, the entire campaign just stopped. I miss being a player in D&D.
A Brisk Waltz - Literally just wanted to write a waltz, then couldn't figure anything else out. No special story for this one.
A Relaxing Day - The intro from one of the early pieces I've written, I've tried again and again to make the whole song work, but I've given up on it after all the attempts, so you can at least hear the best part.
Casino Kazoo Zone - An end card cover from an Omori Episode. I like kazoos
Heroic Fanfare - Played in one of my videos, wanted to play it from my soundboard when I stole a record from Xarxos, but alas, that hasn't happened. Yet. Based on my song Vigilante of Dusk.
A Harpsichord Waltz - Literally just wanted to write a waltz for Harpsichord, then couldn't figure anything else out.
Crunchy Peanut Butter - I used to write when I hung around other people, I miss doing that, but everyone wants to be alone these days. This one in particular I started early March, and had the idea for the visuals you see, and the added bonus of letting the other person get to listen to this kind of music while I wrote it. Once everyone started hiding, this song ended up on the backburner, and it's been so long I doubt I'll finish it. Though I will admit this one's the most likely of everything here to get a full version.

DKORI OST - BANANAVENGEANCE DK EXPANDED Battle Theme - This was originally just going to be a Kazoo Cover, then I remembered a funny Donkey Kong joke I made during the episode. I was laughing the entire time making this cause I find the idea hilarious.
Splintered Kazoos in the Castle - Just a short Kazoo cover, I liked the idea of end cards after I did the first one, so I continued them with this.
I Need Hero - Pretty fun parody, I thought of it as a joke during the day, so that night it became reality.
Omori Rap - I like the DK Rap, it's funny. Do I need more explanation why I made this?
This was a lot of work.
