Welcome to GamerU’s guide to Crafting in ArcheAge, or the art of generating or creating goods based on the 21 different professions available to players. A player may invest time into improving multiple professions, but only so many may be upgraded to each higher tier of mastery, the tiers being Amateur, Basic, Novice, Veteran, Expert, Master, Authority, and Champion. For example, while a player may have five total skills upgraded to the Expert rank, only two may be improved all the way to Champion.
Performing tasks within a profession to develop a character sometimes requires certain supplies or locations. Composers need paper, Alchemists need an Alchemy Table, and so forth. In addition, labor points must be spent to accomplish many tasks within the world of ArcheAge, including crafting. As a player improves their skill in a profession the amount of labor points required to craft will decrease, and other aspects of the profession may be improved or expanded upon as well, such as a character limit increase for composers.
