Recently I worked on a desktop computer for my aunties boyfriend, whilst at his house he said he had a netbook that needed some attention as well. True enough it was just junk pretty much when he first turned it on. So I brought it back home, had to boot into a floppy disk via my USB floppy drive and then run the self contained restore program. I could have just wiped it and used a regular WinXP CD but from what basic search I did online it would have been a nightmare to get most of the drivers for it.
Specs: (as far as I remember)
CPU - Intel Atom N270 1.6Ghz Single Core
RAM - 1GB DDR 2 533Mhz (possibly upgradable)
HDD - 160Gb 2.5" (believe it may be a Toshiba or Seagate)
GFX - Intel G915 or an early GMA series (I forget which)
Sound - On-board Realtek HD Audio
Funny things on ARCHOS website and in the manual it says if you try to upgrade the RAM or HDD then you are voiding your warranty for your product, but I do think it would benefit from 2Gb of RAM these days.
With using the restore partition it was obviously reset to as bought status, so I copied the drivers and manuals. I have uploaded them to RapidShare for anyone else if they need them.
