There are too many games now that NEED a server even to play alone. We are in an age where games you buy can be deleted by the developers basically. Are always online games becoming a problem?

In 2017 games like For Honor, Lawbreakers,
PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, overwatch, and Friday the 13th the game are all being online only. This means that when the servers shut off it's game over and you wasted your money. Even something like Destiny 2 will eventually be deleted and there is nothing gamers can do about it. Oh yeah, I should mention that No Man's Sky got a multiplayer patch update. Guess we can assume that it will go offline at some point and be broken too.
