In this video, Are You Stacking Eisenhower Dollars? I give a brief history of the Eisenhower Dollar, the years it was minted, the anomaly with the 1975 year, and how these were used in the casino industry for coin-in slot machines. I talk briefly about Eisenhower being a 5-star general and a president, a rarity for today's politics. There are a couple of different designs on the reverse of the "Ike" dollars, one is in commemoration of the Apollo 11 mission and the other a nod to the bicentennial of the United States of American independence from Britain. In reality, these Eisenhower dollars are more novelty than anything, but they are still legal tender and collectors do seem to like them.
