Well, is this really it? Is this my last gold purchase ever? What do you think, knowing what you know about me. I try to keep metals at 5%-10% of my entire portfolio, and before this purchase I was already there and then some, but seeing these under the counter glass I just couldn't resist them. I've shared in other videos how I'm pretty impulsive at times! What do you think? Will I buy gold again?
Separately, I'm out of the silver game unless the prices drops to sub $20. Most of you have indicated you don't think that will ever happen again. You're probably right. Hard to imagine anything but inflation at this point. Still, we've had inflationary periods before and silver has decreased in the following years. But is this "the big one"? That is, the period of economic time where so much harm will be done to the economy that we cannot possibly recover - thus making precious metals, perhaps, a very good hedge? Again, time will tell!
