ARK: Aquatica is the latest DLC to come to ARK: Survival Evolved, the crafting survival game that released back in 2017. Meant as an anniversary celebration expansion, ARK: Aquatica's trailer released March 17th at GDC to very mixed responses after the trailer was revealed to have used heavy AI generated content. I sat down with Matt Kohl, lead developer for ARK: Aquatica at Snail Games, and asked him about the AI use and what the DLC would really look like.
