I take a look at the two techniques I've used to tame the Dodo in Ark: Survival Evolved for PC.

Technique 1: Use a Tranq Arrow, clean and effective.
Technique 2: Punch it in the head, be careful not to kill it only knock it out :)

After knocking your bird unconscious, feed it some Narco Berries or Narcotics to keep Torpor levels high and various berries into it's inventory to keep it eating and taming.

Tame time is roughly 2 minutes or so, depending on the berries you use and how you knocked it out.

This is one of my first recordings using a 4k Monitor, running at 3440 x 1440 resolution.
