I take a look at taming the Carbonemys (Turtle) in Ark: Survival Evolved for PC.

Technique 1: Use 5 - 10 Tranq Arrows, clean and effective.
Technique 2: Use Slingshot (you can use this way should you not be advanced enough for Tranq Arrows). Prepare for at least 22 - 35 stones that will be needed to knock it out :)

After knocking your Turtle unconscious, feed it some Narco Berries or Narcotics to keep Torpor levels high and various berries into it's inventory to keep it eating and taming. It prefers the purple Mejoberry.

Tame time is roughly 1 - 1.5 hours or so, depending on the berries you use and how you knocked it out.
