Xbox says Game Pass won't have Exclusives
28The latest Xbox news comes from a Phil Spencer interview about Xbox Game Pass exclusives. Would Microsoft ever make a game exclusive to Game Pass? Phil says no. Xbox Game Pass games are seen as an option not a requirement, but I think exclusives are still possible, and I will say why.
Because the Xbox leaks made it clear they need to grow the sub service off the Xbox console. Customers who do not own an Xbox Series X or an Xbox Series S need to sign up for Game Pass and having games exclusive to the sub model could help, but it would remove choice for the consumer.
Game Pass is a subscription service offered by Microsoft as part of Xbox network. Launched on June 1, 2017, the service allows users to download and play video games for Xbox video game consoles or Microsoft Windows PCs
