With the conclusion of both Armored Core and Armored Core: Project Phantasma, its time for Armored Core: Master Of Arena Challenge Run and just like the previous game, its all done on a fresh savefile and with that no Human Plus upgrades. Of the entire trilogy of games not having Human Plus on Master Of Arena will really put you in a severe disadvantage when its time to go up against the opponents from the harder Arenas which basically forces me to abuse and exploit every scummy/cheesy way or strat that i can to win. Part 1 of the Challenge Run i will begin the game by doing the available Disc 2 Arenas that are open at the very beginning which are the Leg Restricted Arenas. I chose to start with the Caterpillar one first as its both easy to build an good AC and the opponents are basically free with the exception of the very last opponent basically. Just like with Project Phantasma a fresh savefile in this game will start with 100000 Credits but unlike Phantasma, every single part that was hidden in the 1st game or unlocked by story progression is included in the shop of this game so there wont be any problems like having to suck it up and use non optimal parts at all. The money awarded for each fight gets increases substantially when defeating the top 3 opponents and of course the unique Leg Type awarded in the end can further help you economically in the game. Its nowhere near as crazy as Project Phantasma where the Arena gives you so much money that you can buy the entire shop but just like in Phantasma it will definitely help.
