Armored Core VI: Fires Of Rubicon [NG++] - Ch01 M10++ - Obstruct the Mandatory Inspection
0The independent mercenary, Kate Markson, contacts Raven through Walter and tells them about a mandatory inspection being carried out by the Planetary Closure Administration (PCA) at one of BAWS Arsenal facilities. BAWS sells arms to anyone - other corporations, independent mercenaries and even the Rubicon Liberation Front. The PCA are carrying out the inspection in order to put pressure on BAWS and bring them in line. Kate explains that BAWS has contracted independent mercenaries such as herself to raid the facility and disrupt the inspection. Kate proposes Raven to ambush their squads from the inside while she eliminates the trailing forces on the outside. The pincer culminating in their rendez-vous.
Walter finds the whole situation suspicious and also has doubts about Kate Markson who is not even registered in the ALL MIND's virtual Arena database. But the PCA's own inspection was equally surprising considering the amount of firepower they had deployed. Kate proves herself reliable, eliminating forces on the outside. The plan seems to go without a hitch as Raven simultaneously eliminates PCA SGs and LCs. Walter was impressed by Kate's performance. While his suspicions towards Kate doesn't completely go away, the PCA's unusual behavior attracted his attention even more. At the rendez-vous Kate Markson finally meets Raven. Her AC "TRANSCRIBER" - an impressive assembly with state-of-the-art weaponry. One glance was enough to tell that a machine like this would leave even the heavily funded PCA green with envy. Kate Markson warns Raven that the PCA had made an unexpected move. Walter was left in shock as PCA Special Forces machines enter the area - two EKDROMOI units and even a CATAPHRACT. Despite this being their first meeting, Kate also displays remarkable team work together with the Raven bringing her powerful weapons to bear. Raven and Kate Markson prove themselves to be formidable as they take down the Special Forces.
