They both had contrary objectives involving the STRIDER, a massive mobile weaponized mining ship used by the Rubicon Liberation Front. Both missions would serve to boost 621's reputation. Raven chooses the job from the RLF. But something that was beyond their wildest imaginations occurred. The mining ship was already on its last legs both figuratively and literally. But the real shocking part was yet to come. Like a nightmare in the waking world, C-weapons from from the long lost Rubicon Research Institute attack Raven with a fury unlike anything displayed by prior opponents! The cinders from the Fires of Ibis were still burning!
