My first time battling the Sea Spider ever since it got adjusted (it's definitely a nerf) in the 1.02 Update. As far as the move sets go, the only major change I've seen is that, the doesn't use its main Coral laser cannon attack nearly as much as before. On replays I observed the cannon itself does slightly less damage and tracks less, so it's easier to dodge and survive. Otherwise, the changes themselves are very minor. But the Sea Spider itself never posed as much of a challenge as Balteus. Again, I love it when games get easier, but won't complain if there's no option to lower difficulties.
