Some days after the incident beneath Watchpoint Alpha later, Raven who had been kept in stasis awoke to find themselves in the cargo hold of a massive ship. ALL MIND informed Raven that she had kept him asleep for his safety and had secretly transported their body and AC to their current location. They were now in the Xylem, the city which was actually a massive colony ship. The ship was currently flying above Rubicon's atmosphere. ALL MIND tells Raven that everything was in place to achieve Coral Release:

1. The First Factor being the rebuilt Vascular Plant to gather all of Rubicon's Coral in one massive and dense mass. ALL MIND had previously explained during one of her earlier requests that Coral Release could be achieved only through the convergence and resonance of an immeasurably large amount of Coral. That is why it was imperative for Arqeubus to "win" the Coral war and utilize their resources to find rebuild the Vascular Plant, where the convergence was occurring, into a massive Coral Siphon which was now placed in orbit far above Rubicon III. Much of the planet's Coral had been drawn into the siphon and it was only a matter of time before the resonance occured.

2. ALL MIND revealed that another very important factor - the Third Factor going by the notes Ayre found in the hidden part of ALL MIND's Integration Program - was an augmented human that had made Contact with the Coral. Before Raven killed him, ALL MIND had considered Sulla to be the ideal candidate as the Third Factor who could eventually make Contact with a C-Pulse wave mutation and stationed him near Watchpoint Delta along with a few Ghost MTs. Initially angered by Sulla's death, ALL MIND had tried to kill Raven on numerous occasions since the beginning. That is until it realized in the middle of Raven's survey of the Xylem for Walter, that they had made Contact with the Coral. Thus ALL MIND's plan to release the Coral was still possible. And so now, near the end, ALL MIND revealed to Raven that she knew about Ayre - a mutant Coral pulse wave - and their connection. As they all had the same goal to release the Coral, they were no longer enemies and now working together.

But one final obstacle to Coral Release was the secret organization Overseer. In other words, Handler Walter and Cinder Carla. Overseer were currently attempting to ram the colony ship Xylem into Coral Siphon and destroy all the Coral. With most of corporate forces leaders dead, Walter and Carla were able to handle the remaining forces of Arquebus Corporation with relative ease. ALL MIND tasks Raven to take over the Xylem's core control centre from the inside while it handled Overseer's combined forces outside the ship which consisted of RaD MTs, Cinder Carla, and Handler Walter, who was now piloting Ibis HAL 826 C-Weapon AC obtained from Institute City. It didn't take too long for Walter to figure out that Raven - 621 - had not died in Institute City and was now fighting against them. Carla had also figured Raven to be alive but wasn't willing to say it until Walter's words. Although they didn't know the reason, they had accepted that their greatest asset had now become their greatest threat.

Inside the Xylem, Raven fought against the city's drone defenses and even a few of Ghost Drones formerly belonging to ALL MIND but now reprogrammed by Overseer as they made their way towards the core areas. It was as hard battle as the defenses were managed by Carla's A.I. engineer, Chatty Stick. Raven and Ayre prove to be successful and destroy all of the city's control modules and deactivated the security allowing ALL MIND to take control of everything. As a result Chatty Stick "died". Just as his A.I. was erased by ALL MIND he lamented to his creator Carla that he never learned to laugh.

In the exterior of the Xylem, another battle was simultaneously raging between Overseer and ALL MIND. Walter, Carla and her automated MTs from RaD fought against ALL MIND's A.I. piloted ACs that were copies of the now dead Vespers leaders. As Overseer's ultimate goal was to burn the Coral by ramming the Xylem into the Coral Siphon, they could no longer be allowed to exist. And since it was Walter's orders to Raven that resulted in Sulla being killed, ALL MIND consider him the greatest impediment to placing the Third Factor for Coral Release. Furthermore, as Walter was now the pilot of the Ibis series HAL 826 C-weapon AC - the machine which ALL MIND deemed a major threat to the still unrevealed "Second Factor" - ALL MIND decided to personally destroy him and Carla once and for all. And so Carla and Walter still in the dark as to who it was they were really fighting met their end.
