TRIVIA: It was on this day (September 4) in 1972 that this incarnation of "The Price is Right" as we known it today premiered alongside two other shows, "Gambit" and "The Joker's Wild." The former is now in a remake of sorts as GSN's original show "Catch 21" (hosted by Alfonso Riberio), and the latter is airing on TBS these days (hosted by Snopp Dogg).
