So I'm a big fan of the pioneering sampling music group, The Art of Noise and the Fairlight CMI, which is the sampler they used to create their amazing music. After no luck on any functional emulator for the CMI computer, developer AdamStrange has released "QasarBeach CMI IIz", a simulator written from the ground up that does an amazing job of recreating the user interface and functionality of the original hardware, while adding many useful improvements that makes workflow much faster and intuitive.

I recreated part of Art of Noise's first demo "Beat Box (One Made Earlier)" in QasarBeach and I'm very happy with the results. YouTube's Content ID even recognized the song so it shows you how accurate this software is!
